Sberbank does not give credit Agrokor, considering it unfair plan

PAO "savings bank" will not participate in the new funding Agrokor d.d., as he considers it unfair conditions, the first deputy chairman of the bank Maxim Poletaev.

The Croatian Government offers the same conditions to participate in the new loan for the country's largest retailer both banks and funds, speculators, said in a telephone interview with flying. Bank "strongly opposed" Agrokor plan on obtaining financing, he said.

Agrokor, which earlier this year was faced with the inability to maintain commitment and came under the control of authorized by the Government of Croatia, proposed to creditors to provide the company's new financing on the condition that the existing loan for the same amount will be given the status of senior debt.

"When we asked to raise the status of our last debt by 100 million euros, we were refused, citing the fact that it contradicts Lex Agrokor, - Poletaev said. - And now these conditions are offered to all, including funds, who bought the debt from the market for 30-35 percent. We do not understand the logic".
