The British pound rose to the Minister of Finance comments

The British pound rose slightly, while prices for government bonds in the UK fell after the Treasury Secretary Philip Hammond presented his plans for the economy.

The pair GBP / USD at the time of this writing, has increased by 0.1% to 1.2430, while to the comments Hammond was trading down about 0.2%.

The 10-year government bond UK increased to 1.416%, about 0.03 percentage points higher than the closing level Tuesday.
